SEAI Grant 2026 Summary
- Up to €4,000 for windows

- Total support up to €5,600
- Homes must be built before 2011
- Insulation must be completed first
Grant Amounts (Up to €5,600)
The grant you receive depends on your property type:
- Detached house: Up to €4,000
- Semi-detached or end of terrace: Up to €3,000
- Mid-terrace house: Up to €1,800
- Apartment: Up to €1,500
- External doors: €800 per door (maximum 2 doors)
Who Qualifies in 2026
To qualify for the SEAI windows and doors grant, your home must meet these requirements:
- Built and occupied before 2011
- Attic and wall insulation rated “Good” or “Very Good”
- New windows must achieve a U-value of 1.4 W/m²K or better
- BER assessment required after installation
- Final Heat Loss Indicator (HLI) must be below 2.3
You can apply for insulation grants at the same time if needed.
